Okay let me stop being bitter because I’m single and lonely (cries while listening to Sam Smith, ADELE and all things sad) Just Kidding! The day’s of people being sad because they don’t have a beau are long gone!… well at least I hope so(LOL). I can’t even lie, when I was in high school I would see all the girls walk around with those HUGE teddy bears and balloons and candy!(ugh). I hate to admit it but, I would feel a little jealous…..but mostly sad. Awww poor tati, I know(LOL). Anyway, I’m older and wiser(eh..maybe) and I’ve realized you don’t need a beau, or boo or even a bae to have a great Valentine’s Day. There are a ton of things you can do as a “single pringle” on Valentine’s Day.
The first thing is obvi, have a girl’s night with your girlfriends. Watch Mean Girl’s, have a glass (or glassES lol) of wine and drool over David Beckham.
Gosh he’s so beautiful…. anyway! that sounds like a PERFECT night to me. Orrr if you don’t have friends( it’s okay no judgement) you can have an AMAZING night alone #party of 1. Order a pizza and have a movie/tv show marathon of all your favorites.. like Clueless( THE BEST MOVIE EVER…ugh as if! lol).
If being at home alone isn’t your speed, you can also go see a movie by yourself. Wait… I feel like I’ve lost you(LOL). Why do people make such a big deal about going to the movies alone? Anyway, what I’ve realized is that yes, Valentine’s Day is made for couples to express their love and affection and blah blah blah. However, that doesn’t mean us singles can’t express our love for our friends but, most importantly ourselves (eww that was sooo cheesy…very true but cheesy lol). I think the most important thing to remember is that you being single on Valentine’s Day isn’t the end of the world. I know all the couples you see on Insta are #goals but don’t be fooled… guys are still trash, they only do that for the picture and relationships are still annoying (yikes bitter much?). Kidding!…kidding, I’m totally kidding(LOL) I love seeing cute couples on Insta. In all seriousness , being single isn’t bad, you’re not gonna be alone forever with a million cats and you’re not missing out on anything. My mom always told me I shouldn’t rush to be in a relationships because boys will ALWAYS be there, the option to be in a relationship will always be there. You are a beautiful individual who knows their worth and is striving to be the best version of themselves… you don’t need no manzz.. or womenzz(LOL). Happy Valentines’s Day cute potatoes
