When you think of Spring, what comes to your mind??…

Flower fields?, fresh face? ” no-makeup makeup look”? music festivals? That’s all amazingly cute but when I think of Spring, I think of gross insects, my terrible allergies and weird indecisive Cali weather. Okay I’m making it sound like I hate the Spring season but I actually love it. I’m just bitter I’m not at Coachella. Seriously, this was the year I was actually able to afford to go but I didn’t, because I didn’t have anyone to go with #loner. Anyway! I want to embrace the Spring season a little bit more( and also help you cute potatoes get more into the spirit). Sooo I thought I would tell you guys my Spring Must Haves and hopefully it will get you into the Spring mood! Shall we begin?! Now I know, I’m not the only one who LOVES a good midi dress! They are so stylish however, the true reason I’m obsessed with them is that they’re long and effortless. It doesn’t take a lot to style a midi-dress just some simple jewelry pieces. I’m not the biggest fan of short dresses because I have thighs #bigthighssavelives. I just personally never felt comfortable hence why I lean more towards midi dresses and skirts. I found the perfect one at Urban Outfitters, this dress literally screams SPRING!

Picture it, Sicily 1922… ( if you know where that’s from I love you) you’re walking around Santa Monica Pier or better yet, you’re on the Malibu Wine Safari Tour. You have you’re cute midi dress, with some sort of slide sandal or some white tennis shoes, or even some cute slingback heels, gold accent jewelry, circle woven purse, and a scrunchie to hold your hair up!! I just gave you the cutest outfit idea ever… you’re welcome. Another dress I found is this adorable black off-the-shoulder mini dress. Now I know I literally just said I don’t like short dresses # hypocrite. BUT hear me out(LOL) this dress is flowy so I don’t feel so eh. That didn’t make any sense but I know you understood what I’m trying to say. I don’t like wearing dresses that are short but also fitted because 1. I can’t eat as much as I want to and 2. I feel so scandalous with a short fitted dress(LOL). Short flowy dresses are so whimsical to me!

I feel like Spring is the effortless season but we put SO much work( and product) into looking “effortless”. The “I’ve just woke up with dewy and glowy skin and my hair in a perfect messy bun” look. Okay, now that we have the perfect outfit picked out! It’s time to focus on your skin…“your” meaning mine(LOL). Dewy, fresh and glowy skin is a MUST during Spring. The one product I know will deliver is Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream.

Now… I know $68 is a lot of money for face cream but think of your skin. It will love you in the end, your wallet won’t but it’ll get over(LOL). You know what goes with dewy perfect skin? HIGHLIGHT! Cover FX has the best glitter drops. Who says you can’t blind the haters with your highlight on your no-makeup days?!. My goal this year is to wear less makeup or at least try to. No, not because boys like less makeup and want a “natural” girl blah blah. Trust me, I will still beat my face when the time is right, but as far as my everyday makeup, I want to try and wear less. Wearing full coverage almost every day can be a little much sometimes. As we go through Spring and transition into Summer, the weather continues to get hotter, CC Creams will become our saving grace… or even no makeup if your skin is that perfect(mines is not lol). My chocolate queens don’t fret I found an amazing CC cream that won’t have us looking crazy in these streets.

Omg, how could I forget about the most important thing to complete this Spring Must Have list…..LIP GLOSS. I wear lip gloss all year long, but like I’ve mentioned a thousand times, wearing less is my goal( that means no lipstick). You guys need these two lip glosses in your makeup collection, trust me! They’re amazing. Fenty gloss bomb in the shade “Fenty Glow”(IM NOT LYING, I HAD 5 OF THESE BECAUSE I LOVE IT SO MUCH). Another one that’s a must-have is the Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick( I wear the shade “Black Cherry Baby”).
