Seattle, how are you so beautiful?…

Cuties!, OMG I feel like it’s been A WHILE since I’ve written a post( that’s because it has tati lol). Well hello there! Welcome back to the cute side of the internet. I recently got back from Seattle, Washington (I’m currently writing this in the airport as we speak) and I thought ” Hey, I wanna share my trip with my cute potatoes”. So you’re welcome, even though you didn’t ask for this (LOL). Let’s start from the beginning, shall we? I went to Seattle with my friend Jasmine and her two friends Ashley and Riley.

I knew we weren’t going to drive all the way to Seattle because….well, why would we do that when we could just fly there. However, Tati here has never been on a plane… LIKE. EVER. I was more anxious than scared tbh, just that nervous feeling of not knowing when something is going to happen. I ended up taking someone’s seat, and almost throwing up because I was hella nauseous #greattimes. Despite all of that, being on an airplane wasn’t as bad as people make it seem. The couple next to me were extremely sweet and watched over me for the entire flight, despite me stealing their window seat( on accident of course!). They were seriously the kindest people I’ve met in a while.

Once we arrived in Seattle I noticed two things: 1. people in Seattle are soooo freaking sweet( like cotton candy sweet) and 2. Seattle is beautiful. Everything looks really homey and cozy. I was feeling like an extreme tourist because I took pictures of literally EVERYTHING. That cool-looking street- snaps a picture, that beautiful sunset ( even though we have those in Cali)- takes a picture of it. Something about the streets in Seattle really fascinates me, it’s like if New York and Downtown LA had a baby. Moving on from my obsession with streets(LOL)…

We went to all the hot spots like Pike Place Market, Pier 57, The Gum Wall, The Glass Museum, The Space Needle, The Underground Tunnels and the first Starbucks (which wasn’t that great… #sorry). Pike Place Market first and foremost… I love you. The food there was AMAZING( the only thing that excites me…food LOL). There were so many options: donuts, fresh fruit, stuffed peppers, mac n cheese, macaroons, chowder!… my gosh the chowder was heavenly. I gained 5 pounds just being there for like 10 minutes(LOL).

When we first arrived there, it was a little overwhelming not gonna lie. There were a plethora of eateries that I wanted to try but, I would have spent all my money that day( and it was only our first full day there). The main things I believe you should try is Beecher’s Mac n Cheese.

I was a little unsure about it at first, because I don’t eat everyone’s Mac n Cheese. Some people don’t put enough cheese (how rude!) and some bake theirs for too long so the cheese is hard and gross (LOL). The Mac n Cheese Gods were on my side that day because it was AMAZING, there was sooo much cheese I didn’t know what to do. Let’s talk about more food, shall we? I’ve always heard great things about the chowder in Seattle, but I didn’t think I would try it because I’m not the biggest fan of clam chowder (unless it’s Sizzlers, random I know). Dear God… their Clam Chowder was phenomenal( yes, I’m dramatic), there were a lot of different flavors too! My favorite was the Seafood Bisque( literally EVERYONE should try this). After eating my way through Pike Place Market, we stumbled across the famous Gum Wall. It was disgustingly awesome, and surprisingly it wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be.

I didn’t even bring GUM!! I had one job, and that was to bring gum and leave my mark on this amazing wall (dramatic much). I didn’t leave my “mark” but I did get some cute pictures out of it. So in the end, that’s all that matters (LOL).

Now, I know you guys wanna hear EVERY.SINGLE.DETAIL. about my trip, but that would be a very long blog post. So I’ll just tell you guys my favorite part of the trip… besides eating of course. The Glass Museum was honestly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

This is the face of someone who was in DISBELIEF with how beautiful the glass was.

Not only was there amazing glass sculptures, but there were also beautiful woven baskets and pictures of alluring people.

I’m normally not one for Museums, so I wasn’t as excited about going but once I was there, I was heavenly surprised and I look forward to going to more in the future! Now, on to a more terrifying topic… The Space Needle (LOL). Guys! I’m a chicken, I don’t like heights… like at all. However, you can’t go to Seattle and NOT go to The Space Needle, plus we already paid for our tickets so I had to go (LOL). Reaching the top of the needle only took 10 seconds( the elevator had a glass window so you could see all of Seattle as you went up…I looked down. Obviously). Once we reached the top…

My Gosh, it was breathtaking… cold but breathtaking.

How could I forget to mention, there was a section where you could stand on GLASS FLOOR. Yes, you read that right. A 605ft tall building has glass floors, so you could see beneath you ( sounds like a blast lol). I was terrified but I put on a some-what brave face and stood on the glass. Despite me being terrified, the Space Needle was an amazing experience and I’m glad I was able to see how truly beautiful Seattle is.

Alright cuties, that’s it for today! Of course, there were MANY other things that I loved like the Underground Tunnels, Pier 57, conquering my fears again and riding the Ferris Wheel. Instead of me putting you guys to sleep with me writing about all these places… I just show ya’ll pictures. Byeee xoxo my cute potatoes<3.
