Well look who we have here, my cute babes have come to read another one of my amazing posts. That was a very humble blog intro (LOL), but anyway, as we continue to get FRIED by this heat I thought I would share my Summer Must Haves before Summer even starts( jk today is the first day of Summer). Can you believe it’s only the beginning of Summer and it’s already scolding hot?! It was 105 degrees today… and it isn’t even the middle of Summer. Let that sink in guys, I’m making the decision to never leave my house once Summer actually starts. Hopefully, my Must Haves help you guys become excited about Summer and not terrified about getting burned. Let the Must Haves Begin Yay( idk why I’m so excited lol). So normally fashion is the VERY first thing on my mind when we enter a new season. However, because it’s hotter than the Devil’s toenails out here the only thing on my mind is… is my makeup melting off my face yet? (LOL). Yes, a full face of makeup will forever be in style but I think during the Summer lighter “foundation” looks are just as great. My goal recently has been to wear less makeup, you know the ” you’re skin but better/ I woke up like this” look. Everyone and their mom has most-likely heard of this product but, just in case you haven’t heard of it… I gotcha covered. Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint is AMAZING if you want to achieve the “you’re skin but better” look.
Once this product came on the market I wasn’t the biggest fan of it not gonna lie. That’s only because I didn’t really understand the concept of this brand. Full coverage was still extremely popular and the idea of wearing a skin tint was unheard of. So, of course, me going along with the “trend” I didn’t give Glossier a fair shot… until now. This post isn’t just about my thoughts regarding Glossier (I will definitely make a separate post about it!) I just believe their brand is the PERFECT Summer Must Have for that glowy, sun-kissed look. Moving on! so another thing that comes to my mind when I think of Summer makeup looks is Bushy Brows. I love a good Busy Brow, there are a TON of eyebrow products from Anastasia Beverly Hills to NYX. My favorite so far is Glossier’s “Boy Brow” (I’m sorry this isn’t sponsored I swear) and Benefit Precisely My Brow.
Talk about pigment! As most of you know, I have my eyebrows microbladed so I don’t really have to fill them in… like ever. But I still use this product to give my eyebrows a little fluff, a little vava voom. I don’t know what I’m saying (LOL). Anyway, because my eyebrows aren’t naturally “bushy” these two products help me achieve that look, even though I have to fake my way to achieving it.
Okay let’s see, we’ve talked about skin tints (LOVE THEM), the windows to the face A.K.A the eyebrows what’s next?
Despite me not being the biggest fan of blushes, I LOVE buying different types of blushes. It makes zero sense I know, but hear me out! 3CE Multi-Blush Pots are honestly perfect for the Summer. Not only can you use them on your eyes and lips but they make the perfect “sun-kissed” blush look.
Look at these! Seriously, I’m gushing while writing this (LOL). First of all, the packaging is beautiful, second, the pigment is #goals. The two colors I feel are more “summerish” will be that gorgeous red color and they also have
I mean come on! look how Summery those models look. I believe cream blushes are better for Summertime because they are more natural looking. It’s easier to blend out a cream blush than a powder blush. Another great creamy blush would be Glossier Cloud Paint Blush. I don’t know why I’m promoting Glossier so hard but Glossier where is my check (LOL… I’m kidding… kind of).
We’re almost done babes, you’re sad I know. Not only is our skin drying from the sun slowly burning us, but our lips are also becoming shriveled up and dry. Now I was going to say use the Glossier lip gloss but I feel like I’ve been promoting Glossier in this whole post ( again Glossier sponsor me :)). You guys already know my obsession with Fenty Gloss Bomb… so I won’t bring it up again (LOL). If you are a gloss girl like me then stick with what you know. If you don’t like your hair being stuck to your lip gloss, I would say use matte lipsticks or even lip tints! As always your bestie Tati gotcha covered :).
