Hello my name is Tatimarie and I’m OBSESSED with Korean fashion……

You guys know the saying “Beauty comes in all different shape and sizes”. Well, the same thing goes for fashion…DUH! We’re all familiar with American fashion trends(anything from fashion nova, styling workout clothes as regular clothes, basically anything the Kardashians wear) yup, that’s America…oh and cameo pants, lots and lots of cameo. As I was scrolling through my insta feed, seeing girls pretty much wearing the same thing. I started thinking about different countries and their fashion trends. One country I’ve been OBSESSED with is South Korea. Random I know, but the language, food, fashion and don’t get me started on K-pop is VERY interesting, to say the least. I’ve watched enough Korea-based YouTubers to know they’re serious about their sense of style. When I first started to notice Korean fashion I was a little confused, excited and even jealous. I know many emotions, confused because the pieces they put together, I would have NEVER thought of putting together and it actually looking nice.

Excited because I’ve never really seen fashion like that out here (Merica, LOL). I personally feel like when people out here try to be “trendy” and “different” and piece different patterns and colors together it just looks forced and weird. Some are able to pull it off, but MOST just look like they got dressed in the dark( LOL). Seeing different(new) trends is always exciting for me personally. Lastly, jealous because obviously my closet/sense of style will never be as amazing as theirs( cries in the corner lol).

I told you they don’t play when it comes to their style. Not only can they piece random things together, but they also dress to the nines…ALL THE TIME. I don’t know about you guys but I’m a fashion icon about 10% of the time. The other 90% is me in leggings and oversized sweaters(LOL). People in Korea are ALWAYS styled to perfection. It makes sense, because your personal image is EXTREMELY important out there ( which I’m HERE FOR!). I mean I’m here for it but I’m also like that can be really stressful to have people judging how you look ALL THE TIME. Americans(some of them) tend to dress more for comfort than for style, and even if we do dress for style… it’s still comfy lol. One of my dreams is to go to Seoul Fashion Week. Have you guys ever googled or even been to Seoul Fashion Week?! Like… my God the outfits are truly amazing( and I’m not even talking about the models!).

I want to wear this EVERYDAY….like EVERY.SINGLE.DAY

I can’t handle all this beautiful fashion! Guys… I love these outfits so much. It just amazes me that these people aren’t even the models or walking the runway, yet they look PHENOMENAL. Did you think it was just adults with great style.. well you thought wrong!

Look at these little cuties! My gosh, teach them while they’re young(LOL). These kids have more style than I would ever have. Whenever I have kids, they’re dressing like this… all the time.. 24/7. I don’t know much about Fashion Week in other countries but I LOVE that they get kids involved and let them participate in the lovely world that is fashion. I can’t wait to visit South Korea one day, hopefully I will want to come back to America( LOL).
